About Me

I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. However, arriving where I am today did not come without hard work. Initially, I attended community college after graduating high school in 2018; the College of DuPage to be exact. Life as a community college student was hazy and unclear. Often times community college students are looked to be inferior, often degenerates or delinquents. At first, I was embarrassed to say I was a community college student, but after being a year removed, I believe it to be one of the most foundational moments in my life; it helped me grow into the driven person I am today, it helped me meet wonderful students and instructors, and it filled me with a sense of urgency in life.

During my short-lived college career, I have been able to extend my learning past the classroom, and I hope to inspire and lead others to opportunities as to how they can do the same. I am an eager and willing to learn individual!

Career Goals & Aspirations:

I have a passion for statistics, mathematics, machine learning, and operations research. I am currently building reports using mathematical and statistical methods, visualization tools, and optimization methods to improve supply chain production.

My overall passion lies in time series analysis and quantitative finance.

Research Experience:

I have worked in Dr. Jack Jiang's Voice Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison researching about the larynx and vocal folds. Some interesting projects I was able to work on include; Biphasic properties of the vocal folds and the statistical analysis of the experimental data, and, the design, construction, and research of the CLARITY project that emphasized immunostaining the vocal folds clear for more precise and in-depth imaging.

After my time at Dr. Jack Jiang's Voice Lab, I was able to work with a Master's student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison aiding in production of the statistical significance of her study as it relates to photosynthetic parameters.

Now I am with Dr. Dane Morgan working in his machine learning and materials science laboratory.

Technical Skills:

I am skilled with R, Python, Java, MATLAB, the Microsoft Office Suite, LaTex, macOS, Windows, and Linux.
